Trademark Policy for SSM Manufacturing, LLC

Key Requirements

All Resellers are required to follow this Trademark Policy which may be amended from time to time at Supplier’s sole discretion.

Reseller may use the Supplier’s Trademarks (as defined below) to refer to Supplier’s Products provided that Reseller follows these guidelines and such use is accurate, fair and not misleading. Supplier exclusively owns any goodwill generated by Reseller’s use of Supplier’s Trademarks.

Proper Use of Supplier’s Trademarks

• Follow Supplier’s Design Guide.
• Use the Supplier’s Trademarks only as an adjective, never as a noun or verb, and never in the plural or possessive form.
• Never use Supplier’s Trademarks as a generic term for the product category.

Prohibited Use of Supplier’s Trademarks

• Do not remove, distort or alter any element of Supplier’s Trademarks. That includes modifying Supplier’s Trademarks, for example, through hyphenation, combination or abbreviation.
• Do not shorten, abbreviate, or create acronyms out of Supplier’s Trademarks.
• Do not use Supplier’s Trademarks more prominently than your own trademarks, name, trade name, product name, service name, or other name. You should distinguish these names visually from any of Supplier’s Trademarks or other name.
• Do not use Supplier’s Trademarks in any manner that expresses or implies Supplier has any affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, certification, or approval of your product, service, or company, unless specifically authorized by Supplier.
• Do not display Supplier’s Trademarks in a manner that in Supplier’s sole opinion is misleading, unfair, defamatory, infringing, libelous, disparaging, obscene, or otherwise objectionable to Supplier.
• Do not display Supplier’s Trademarks on a website or on material that violates any law or regulation.
• Do not use Supplier’s Trademarks in false or misleading advertising.
• Do not incorporate Supplier’s Trademarks into Reseller’s product name, service names, trademarks, logos, or company names.
• Do not copy or imitate Supplier’s trade dress, including the look and feel of Supplier’s web design properties or Supplier’s brand elements, distinctive color combinations, typography, graphic designs, product icons, or imagery associated with Supplier.
• Do not use or register Supplier’s Trademarks as or incorporated in social media account names, profiles, or aliases.
• Do not register Supplier’s Trademarks as second or third level domain names.
• Do not use Supplier’s Trademarks in a way that suggests a common, descriptive, or generic meaning.
• Do not use the registration symbol (®) in connection with Supplier’s Trademarks in countries where our marks have not been registered. Trademark rights vary from country to country.

Supplier’s Trademarks are included in the following list. The absence of any of Supplier’s trademark, service mark, trade name, logo, tagline, etc. from this list does not waive Supplier’s intellectual property rights therein.
